Deserialization of untrusted file parameters in Microsoft SharePoint Server allows remote authenticated users to execute code over a network. A Site Owner can upload a crafted file and send specialized API requests that deserialize its parameters without validating the object data. Site Owner permissions or higher are required, and successful exploitation runs code in the SharePoint Server context.
