Relative path traversal in Microsoft Windows Hyper-V on affected Windows Server releases allows remote authenticated users to execute host code. Hyper-V resolves attacker-controlled relative directory paths without neutralizing traversal sequences, allowing access outside the intended directory. Low-privileged network access is required, and successful exploitation can compromise host confidentiality, integrity, and availability without user interaction.
