Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server allows remote attackers to execute code through a malicious server response. The client driver mishandles malicious data returned during an OLE DB connection and overwrites heap memory; Microsoft has not disclosed the affected routine or field. Exploitation requires a user or application to connect to an attacker-controlled SQL server, after which code runs in the client process.
