CVE-2024-2997Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via unsanitized inventory names

Published Mar 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Stored cross-site scripting in Bdtask M-Store 20240320 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through inventory names. The category, model, brand, and unit name handlers store attacker-controlled input and later place it into administrative web pages without neutralizing executable markup. Administrative privileges and another user's interaction are required, and successful exploitation alters page content in the viewer's session.
