Switch-password disclosure via world-readable backup archives

Insecure backup storage in Brocade SANnav before 2.3.0a allows local users to recover switch passwords from appliance backups. The backup component creates world-readable archives containing configuration files, the administrator database, and encrypted switch credentials. Local access and an existing backup are required; restoration to an attacker-controlled appliance enables offline traffic capture or reverse engineering of the custom encryption to disclose all managed-switch passwords.
