Authenticated password disclosure via shared session storage
Published Jun 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 22, 2024
Information disclosure in Brocade Fabric OS before 9.2.1, 9.2.0b, and 9.1.1d allows remote authenticated users to read encoded passwords. On Virtual Fabric platforms, the web interface places encoded session passwords in session storage where other authenticated users can view them. Access requires valid credentials and a Virtual Fabric platform, and the disclosure does not grant data modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
