Reflected script execution via insufficient output escaping
Published Mar 27, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in Active Websight SEO Backlink Monitor 1.5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through crafted requests. Public advisories attribute the flaw to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping but do not identify the affected parameter or rendering function. Execution requires a user to open an attacker-crafted page, after which the script runs in that user’s browser context and can read or alter data available to the page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
