Suppressed request disclosure via inverted permission gate
Published Mar 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Information disclosure in CreateWiki 23415c17ffb4832667c06abcf1eadadefd4c8937 allows remote authenticated users to read suppressed wiki requests. RestWikiRequest::run and RequestWikiRequestViewer::getFormDescriptor skip visibility-right checks when the requester lacks the read permission. Exposure requires a private wiki that whitelists Special:RequestWikiQueue; the disclosed content is limited to suppressed wiki requests.
