Local Administrator code execution via installer race

Local privilege escalation in QlikView through 12.70.20200 and 12.80.20100 allows local users to execute code as Windows Administrator. The flaw is a race in the installer executable involving MSI files stored on disk, but Qlik has not disclosed the improperly synchronized operation. Exploitation requires existing low-privileged access to the Windows environment and results in code execution with Administrator privileges.
