Authentication bypass in Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager before 12.1.2.172 allows remote attackers to take over accounts via NTLM relay. Veeam has not published which request handler accepts relayed NTLM authentication or how the captured exchange is replayed. Exploitation requires a victim to participate in the relayed NTLM exchange, and a successful relay grants the victim account's privileges.
