CVE-2024-29842Network attack vector

Unauthenticated ABACARD disclosure via missing access control

Published Apr 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Improper access control in Evolution Controller 2.04.560.31.03.2024 and earlier allows remote attackers to read any user's ABACARD field. The DESKTOP_EDIT_USER_GET_ABACARD_FIELDS operation returns the requested value after reporting an expired operator instead of rejecting the request. No authentication or user interaction is required, but a valid user identifier must be supplied and the documented impact is limited to data disclosure.
