Reflected XSS via unescaped image_id in editimage_bwg
Published Mar 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Photo Gallery by 10Web 1.0.1 through 1.8.21 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through image_id. The editimage_bwg AJAX action embeds image_id inside existing JavaScript in its admin-ajax.php response without neutralizing script syntax. Exploitation requires a targeted user with permission to access the feature, and the injected script runs in that user's browser session.
