Local information disclosure via missing bounds check
Published Apr 5, 2024 · Updated Nov 21, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Google Android's ACPM kernel code allows local users to disclose information through tmu_get_tr_num_thresholds. The tmu_get_tr_num_thresholds function in tmu.c performs a read without first enforcing the required bounds check. A low-privilege local user can reach the flaw without user interaction; the documented consequence is information disclosure only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
