Database read, modification, and deletion via injectable parameters
Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
SQL injection in SportsNET CMS 4.0.1 allows remote attackers to read, modify, and delete database records through a web request. The /app/ax/checkBlindFields/ endpoint incorporates the idChallenge and idEmpresa parameters into a database query without safely neutralizing SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation compromises the database’s confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
