Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Sep 6, 2024
SQL injection in SportsNET CMS 4.0.1 allows remote attackers to read, update, and delete all database information through idCat. The consejoRandom endpoint incorporates the untrusted idCat value into a database query without neutralizing attacker-supplied SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation compromises the information held in the application database.
