Server-side template injection in Berri AI LiteLLM before 1.34.42 allows remote attackers to execute server code via /completions. The hf_chat_template function loads chat_template from a model's tokenizer_config.json and renders it with an unrestricted Jinja environment. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation runs code with the LiteLLM process's privileges.
