CVE-2024-29435

Arbitrary command execution via unchecked processId

Published Apr 1, 2024 · Updated Sep 4, 2024

Command injection in AllData 0.4.6 allows physically proximate attackers to execute arbitrary system commands through processId. The process-shutdown path concatenates an unchecked processId value into a kill command and executes the resulting command string. Exploitation requires physical access and user interaction according to CISA; injected commands run with the AllData service process privileges.
