Stored script execution via Instant messenger field
Published Apr 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024
Stored XSS in Webasyst Framework 2.9.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. The Contact info function saves the Instant messenger field and renders its HTML without neutralizing a script payload. Profile-edit access and a user viewing the modified profile are required; the script executes in that viewer's session and can read accessible data.
