Administrator access via unexpired deleted-account sessions
Published Mar 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Insufficient session expiration in Mindskip XZS MySQL 3.8 allows remote attackers to retain deleted administrator access. Deleting an administrator account fails to invalidate its existing session credential, and the API continues authorizing requests from that session. Exploitation requires a session established before an administrator deletes that account; the stale session can still perform administrative actions.
