Authenticated cross-site scripting via unsanitized course ID
Published Mar 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site scripting in CampCodes Online Examination System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted course ID. The updateCourse.php endpoint fails to neutralize the id argument before rendering it in an administrative modal. A low-privileged session and victim interaction are required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled script in the victim's browser context.
