Administrator session theft via reflected clipboard payload
Published May 22, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Reflected XSS in Silverpeas Core 6.3 allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser through a crafted clipboard URL. ClipboardSessionController reflects an encoded GET payload into Idle.jsp without neutralizing HTML, allowing an event handler to execute despite CSP. Successful exploitation requires an administrator to follow the link; the script can send page content containing session data to the attacker.
