CVE-2024-29244Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Device-state modification via unchecked 3G PIN length

Published Mar 21, 2024 · Updated Nov 7, 2024

Buffer overflow in Shenzhen Libituo LBT-T300-mini firmware 1.2.9 allows remote attackers to alter device state via pin_code_3g. The config_3g_para call chain accepts the pin_code_3g value submitted to /apply.cgi without restricting its length, overflowing a buffer. The published proof of concept sends HTTP Basic credentials, although CISA assesses no privileges as required, and public evidence does not establish code execution or service interruption.
