Missing authorization in Synology Surveillance Station before 9.2.0-9289 and 9.2.0-11289 lets remote authenticated users alter DSM. Synology identifies the locus as the System webapi component but has not disclosed the affected operation or request parameters. Remote authenticated users can cross the missing authorization boundary to read non-sensitive information, change sensitive configuration, or interrupt service by rebooting or shutting down the NAS.
