Sensitive information disclosure via missing GetLiveViewPath authorization
Published Mar 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024
Missing authorization in Synology Surveillance Station before 9.2.0-9289 and 9.2.0-11289 lets remote authenticated users read live-view path data. The GetLiveViewPath webapi component omits a required authorization check before returning sensitive path information; Synology has not published the request parameters or code-level cause. A valid account is required, and the documented consequence is information disclosure without reported data modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
