Origin-context script execution via unsanitized stream names
Published Apr 4, 2024 · Updated Aug 13, 2024
DOM-based XSS in AlexxIT go2rtc 1.8.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in its origin via a crafted stream name. The index page fetches API stream entries and interpolates each untrusted name into a table row through innerHTML without sanitizing HTML metacharacters. Exploitation requires a victim to visit an attacker-controlled page that creates the stream and redirects the browser, exposing data and actions available to the go2rtc origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
