Checkout group forgery via unvalidated request input
Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Improper input validation in Devolutions Server 2024.1.10.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to forge a PAM JIT checkout group. The PAM JIT elevation checkout feature accepts a specially crafted request and presents its supplied group as the displayed group without adequate validation. PAM JIT access is required, and the known consequence is misleading the approval display rather than directly granting group membership.
