Authenticated data access via audit API SQL injection
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
SQL injection in Dell Secure Connect Gateway 5.18.00.20 through 5.22.00.18 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify application data. The SCG UI's internal audit REST API fails to neutralize request data before incorporating it into SQL commands executed against the backend database. A valid gateway account and network access to the UI are required, and successful exploitation is limited to unauthorized database access and modification.
