Authenticated database access via assets API SQL injection
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Dell Secure Connect Gateway 5.18.00.20 through 5.22.00.18 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify application data. The SCG UI's internal assets REST API passes attacker-controlled input into backend SQL commands; Dell has not disclosed the affected parameter or query construction. A valid account and network access to the UI are required, and impact is limited to unauthorized database reads and writes with no reported service interruption.
