CVE-2024-29152Network attack vector

Sensitive-information disclosure via unchecked RRC states

Published Jun 4, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025

Information disclosure in Samsung Exynos baseband software allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive data via an RRC Reconfiguration message. The baseband software accepts state specifications in an untrusted RRC Reconfiguration message without properly checking the current protocol state. Reachability requires the crafted radio-control message to reach an affected Exynos baseband; no data modification or service interruption is reported.
