Credential disclosure via plaintext passwords in core dumps

Cleartext credential storage in Sharp and Toshiba Tec MFP firmware allows remote attackers to retrieve user passwords from core dumps. The main process decrypts every stored user password before any user logs in and retains the plaintext in memory, causing generated core files to contain valid credentials. Exploitation requires network access plus another flaw that can generate and read a core dump; disclosure is limited to credentials captured in that file.
