Stored XSS via unsanitized admin settings
Published Mar 19, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Matt Manning MJM Clinic 1.1.22 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through admin settings. The settings handlers store administrator-supplied values without sufficient input sanitization, and affected views render them without output escaping. Administrator access is required; exploitation is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled, and a later visitor triggers the stored script.
