CVE-2024-29100Network attack vector

Editor-level arbitrary file upload via unvalidated URL

Published Mar 28, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Arbitrary file upload in Jordy Meow AI Engine 2.1.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write files to the server. The add_image_from_url function downloads a caller-supplied URL and saves it as WordPress media without validating the file type. Editor-level access is required; server-side execution depends on the web server handling the uploaded file as executable code.
