Service hang via non-regular metadata file reads

Improper input validation in Canonical snapd before 2.62 allows context-dependent attackers to hang snapd through a crafted snap. Container validation permits named pipes, sockets, or device nodes in metadata paths, and extraction reads those entries as ordinary files, blocking indefinitely. A user with snap-installation authority must install the malicious image; the resulting hang interrupts snap management on the host.
