Privilege escalation in affected Windows Server releases allows remote authenticated users to gain local administrator rights through Kerberos. During inbound Kerberos authentication, PAC validation accepts a spoofed process-user signature and bypasses signature checks. Exploitation requires a malicious or compromised service account on the accepting server, and the consequence is local administrator access.
