Unauthorized file uploads via manipulated transfer job IDs
Published Mar 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Authorization bypass in JumpServer 3.0.0 through 3.10.5 allows remote authenticated users to upload files into another user's transfer job. The bulk-transfer handler accepts a caller-controlled job ID and associates the submitted file with that existing job without enforcing ownership. A low-privilege account and a valid job ID are required; successful exploitation writes an unauthorized file under the legitimate job's execution context.
