Configuration-file modification via cross-origin API requests

CSRF in the ESPHome 2023.12.9 dashboard allows remote attackers to alter configuration files through a logged-in user's browser. The dashboard accepts a crafted cross-origin form submission as an authenticated configuration-file API request. A logged-in dashboard user must visit the weaponized page; the request can create, edit, or delete configuration files and supports account takeover when chained with stored XSS.
