Memory corruption via oversized Wi-Fi schedule end time
Published Mar 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC7 15.03.06.44 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted Wi-Fi schedule request. The setSchedWifi handler at /goform/openSchedWifi accepts an oversized schedEndTime value into a stack buffer, although published material omits the exact copy operation and buffer size. Low-privileged web-management access is required; the public proof of concept demonstrates oversized input but not reliable code execution.
