SSRF via unvalidated download redirects
Published Apr 4, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
SSRF in Apache CloudStack 4.9.1.0 through 4.18.1.0 and 4.19.0.0 allows remote attackers to access restricted resources. During template or ISO retrieval, the management server and secondary storage VM follow attacker-controlled 301 redirects without revalidating the redirected destination. Exploitation requires an external download server to return the redirect and causes server-originated requests to otherwise restricted or arbitrary locations.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
