SYSTEM code execution via unsafe JSON deserialization
Published Sep 12, 2024 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Deserialization of untrusted data in SolarWinds Access Rights Manager 2024.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The JsonSerializationBinder class fails to validate user-supplied data before deserializing it. Although the service normally requires authentication, ZDI reports that authentication can be bypassed; successful attacks run code with SYSTEM privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
