Deserialization of untrusted data in SolarWinds Web Help Desk 12.8.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute host commands. SolarWinds has not disclosed the affected class or endpoint; the application unsafely deserializes attacker-controlled Java data. SolarWinds could not reproduce unauthenticated exploitation, while successful authenticated exploitation runs commands with the service's host privileges.
