Authenticated admin-only API access via REST enable API
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper access control in Dell Secure Connect Gateway before 5.24.00.00 allows remote authenticated users to invoke administrator-only APIs. The internal enable REST API exposes restricted backend operations without enforcing the caller's low-privilege role. An administrator must first enable the REST interface, after which a low-privilege account can access restricted resources and change application state.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
