Privileged SSH activation via undocumented functions
Published Sep 30, 2024 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
Improper privilege management in Infinera hiT 7300 5.60.50 allows remote authenticated users to activate SSH via an adjacent interface. Undocumented privileged functions in the @CT management application enable the service on an unexpected network interface. High privileges and adjacent-network access are required; activation exposes the appliance's SSH administration surface on that interface.
