Hardcoded credentials in Infinera hiT 7300 5.60.50 allow remote attackers to gain highest-privilege OS access via the management network. A hidden SSH service on the local management interface accepts embedded credentials and opens an operating-system shell with the highest privileges. Reachability requires adjacent access to the local management network; successful authentication grants full control of the appliance operating system.
