Cleartext password storage in Infinera hiT 7300 5.60.50 allows local users with guest OS administrator access to read user passwords. The @CT desktop management application retains multiple users' passwords unencrypted in process memory, making them recoverable from its memory dumps. A user must interact with @CT, and exploitation requires administrator access to an application memory dump; the disclosed consequence is credential exposure.
