Credential disclosure via web UI script injection
Published May 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM DevOps Deploy 7.0 through 8.0.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript into the web UI. IBM has not disclosed which web UI field or handler accepts the untrusted script or fails to neutralize it during page generation. Exploitation requires a low-privileged user to plant the script and another user to view the affected interface, exposing credentials within that trusted session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.0 <=7.0.5.20
