API-key disclosure via hard-coded credentials
Published Jan 7, 2025 · Updated Jan 7, 2025
Hard-coded credentials in IBM Controller 11.0.0 through 11.0.1 and 11.1.0 allow remote authenticated users to obtain Artifactory API keys. IBM identifies hard-coded keys but does not disclose the component, storage location, or request that exposes them. Low-privileged network access is required; the exposed keys permit publishing code to private packages or repositories under the organization's identity.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=11.0.0 <=11.0.1

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
No public exploit references are available in this record.
Labels summarize the accepted research assessment. They do not indicate a test against your environment.
