Unauthenticated access via empty factory password

Authentication bypass in FURUNO SYSTEMS ACERA 9010-08 and 9010-24 firmware 02.04 and earlier allows remote attackers to log in without a password. The factory configuration leaves the password empty while enabling the remote access service, so its login accepts an empty credential. The flaw is reachable only from an adjacent network when a device remains in its initial non-MS-mode configuration, permitting network and user information to be read or altered.
