Agent command execution via stored log-page script
Published Apr 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 15, 2024
Stored XSS in Engin Demirbilek NorthStarC2 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute commands on connected agents. Unauthenticated registration requests to login.php place attacker-controlled agent identifiers into server logs, where the management log page renders a multi-record JavaScript payload in an authenticated operator's browser. Execution requires an operator to view the poisoned log page; the stolen session and CSRF token then authorize commands against online Windows agents.
