Improper authentication in wolfSSL wolfSSH before 1.4.17 allows remote attackers to create SSH channels before user authentication. The server-side handshake state machine accepts channel-open messages without verifying that user authentication has completed. The bundled servers terminate such sessions before shell or forwarding access, but an embedding application that omits username and credential checks can grant unauthorized system access.
