Stored XSS via unescaped contact names
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 19, 2025
Stored XSS in Easy Property Listings before 3.5.4 allows remote authenticated users with administrative access to execute script. The new-contact form stores an unsanitized name value and later renders it in the contacts view without output escaping. Administrative access is normally required, although plugin configuration can lower the required role; execution occurs when a user views the saved contact.
